State workers and teachers unions

Don't you just love this ....

State workers bitching about having to pay for a portion of their retirement .... wow ...poor babies.  I feel so bad for them and their teachers union buddies too.  Life is just so hard for you guys huh??

So now you're in the streets asking for our sympathy and trying to intimidate our elected officials.  Us who work to pay for your salary, your excellent insurance benefits and your life time pensions ... 

We should work our asses off (because you see when the the private sector takes a hit which we all did then people get laid off and so then we have to do their jobs and ours to stay employed) and be happy with our basic insurance and our non-existent pensions so we can pay for you and give you great insurance and pay for 100% of your pension. 

I see your point now ....

I suggest this going forward:

• No government employee gets a single thing better than us who pay for you !
• immediate elimination of tenure for teachers
• if our kids don't get a superior education ... then teachers get inferior pay ...if teachers still don't perform better they're out.
• No state worker pensions ....it all converts to 401ks (so you can feel our pain)

It's time for one America the way it was intended.  Not an America of public servants who have it better than the private sector Americans and treat the Americans who pay for them like their door mats and think they have any grounds to bitch about the fact that they have to finally be on equal ground.
