How Fannie Mae functions

Fannie Mae is a Government Sponsored Entity (GSE).  In 2004 under the leadership of Raines that meant that if Fannie was making money it payed it's executives huge salaries and bonuses and then also swept millions into the pockets of our congress men and women.  If Fannie looses money then the congress passes on those losses and shoves them right up the tax payers asses.  Because Fannie is a GSE it is exempt from state and federal taxes, has lower capital requirements, and borrows at rates well below those paid by private companies.   This is why it has a practical monopoly in the housing finance sector.

Raines commits fraud at Fannie Mae

In 2004 the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (Ofheo) issued a report finding that the government-sponsored entity Fannie Mae had engaged in Enron-like accounting machinations that allowed Fannie to overstate its earnings. By overstating earnings company executives like Clinton administration deputy attorney general Jamie Gorelick and Carter administration assistant director for domestic policy Franklin Raines got huge bonuses. 

Franklin Raines co-founds a corporate governance and ethics group

In 2004 Franklin Raines co-founds a corporate ethics group.  Holly shit LMFAO .... this guy and ethics don't belong in the same sentence never mind any kind of group.  Can you even imaging the gaul of this hypocrite!!  Living a life with no hint of ethical behavior and forming a group to ensure other corporations have it.  The institute was set up in January 2004 to promote corporate ethics programs after prominent scandals such as those at Enron Corp. and WorldCom Inc. What a joke!

Franklin Raines buys the technology rights to CCX trading

Can I ask you something ...  What does a guy who's supposed to be running the biggest mortgage company in the world know about carbon trading ??   Why would he be interested in it ??  The answer is in this story from Forbes   Here is their quote about his involvement in CCX:
 "The actual operating system for CCX trading was provided by deposed former head of Fannie Mae Franklin Raines, who had purchased the technology rights. Raines had become an expert in bundling bad subprime mortgages, and the technology was ideal for bundling worthless air credits."    This is the next big corruption machine that Raines and all his buddies are involved in.

• Ran Fannie Mae for 5 years
• Cooked the books so that he gained over $90 Million in bonuses
• OFHEO acts on a tip and catches the fraud
• December 2004 - The board of Fannie ousts him (he was 55).
• When he left he negotiated a deal netting him a $114,000 a month pension!
• March 2005 - He is removed from the corporate ethics group he founded. 
• Eventually forced to claw back $50 Million of his bonus .. WTF ... why didn't he go to jail ????
• Provided the operating system for CCX (I'll tell you about this later and it'll piss you off even more)

How Franklin Raines and Fannie Mae affects you

So the net is this corrupt bastard walks away from fraud (unlike the Enron guys, one  of which is in jail and the other killed himself) and retires after just 5 years with a $114,000 a month pension after being kicked out his job.  What is wrong with us just sitting by and taking this bullshit.  He needs to be back in court and prosecuted to the full extent for his crimes not living high on the hog on your tax dollars!

Fannie was a big part of this housing crisis by writing loans that could not be paid so Raines could get his bonus and congress could keep stealing money from it. Both parties participate in this corrupt practice of taking so called profit dollars from Fannie but no one has taken money at a faster rate than Barack Obama. Proud to wave the flag

This is an awesome story of Americans being proud of their flag and their country. I got goose bumps seeing how it ended. You may have already seen this but I'll sum up the story as I heard it.

A 13 year old boy in California was flying the flag on the back of his back. His grandfather is a veteran and on the week of veterans day the principal of his middle school told him to take the flag off his bike because some students were offended by it. Offended by the flag of the country you're going to school in WTF ??? Here is the boy being interviewed by the local news:

Word got out about the story of the flag being banned and this was the result. Americans came together to show support and rally around the boy and the flag. Hundreds of American legion bikers showed up at the boys home and escorted him to school with huge American flags flying proud from their bike.



The boy gets permission to fly his flag and a an apology from a local congress man along with a parade in his honor. The kid actually gets emotional as the crowd greets him. A great little patriot !

How congress has eliminated itself

Death Panels

Well here's a perfect example of how Obama and democrats have setup administrations to just maneuver around congress and implement laws that congress didn't want.  We now have the death panels back into law via Obamacare's new powers given to the Secretary (of the Department of Health and Human Services). 

Remember that the death panels were removed from Obamacare so congress would pass the bill.  Now it simply gets put back in due to a "rule change" from the Secretary of DHHS Sebelius.  It's disgusting and infuriating to see how our inept congress passed this bill (and others) that have now left them impotent as well as stupid.

Illegal immigration

This is a tough topic but there are still some common sense rules we can apply.

You came here illegally and there has to be consequences.

There had to be a good reason that drove you to just leave your home and then come here to start over and no one would deny that. But it's not fair to others from your country going through the proper channels. If you try to cut ahead then you need to pay a price for that decision ... we are a nation of laws and fair play and we will not be taxed to give you a free ride.

1. You must come froward immediately
2. If you have broken any laws - you are going back
3. It will take you 3 times longer to become a citizen than others from your country. It's not fair that you push people back who want the same chance you took illegally.
4. You will be ineligible for any govt. aid programs. We're not going to pay for you ... no one's paying for us!
5. Your children will pay out of state rates for any higher education.
6. Your children will compete at the same level as American children for college entry.
7. You will be taxed at 1.5 times the normal rate until you become a citizen. You will pay a fine based on time you spent in this country illegally.

The political parties are kissing up to illegals and their groups to try and buy votes. If illegals have to wait 3 times longer than people coming here legally it will stop this kind of corruption in our government. This really pisses off the hard working people of this country who are tired of being taken advantage of by our government.

Some illegals percieve America as free ride for them and their children. If illegals have to provide for themselves as we all do and are denied any government assistance it will stop this attitude.

As I said before some of these people had good reason to come here, but the fact is that they are breaking our laws to get here. A penalty of 1.5 times the normal tax rate will show the good people who want the opportunities that America offers.

Stop unfair federal spending

I don't see why we have to fight over these spending issues. No federal funds can be spent on any program that doesn't cater to ALL Americans period!

This eliminates groups like ACORN who exist only to feed our money to corrupt democratic voters with their hands out. If any group has not benefited all Americans evenly then it gets no American funds. The democratic party can fund these criminals.

NPR and any other public broadcasting. These guys add nothing special to the airwaves and should have to compete for time like any other company. If people like the message then they can donate at the next pledge drive. I don't ever watch or listen to this crap so why am I billed for it?

Fundamental change

Can't understand how America needs a fundamental change.

The president of the United States (the most powerful country in the world) is a member of a minority, was raised by his grandmother without the help of full time parents, attended one of the best universities on the planet and then moved through congress at record speed to the highest position in the country. But yet he thinks we need fundamental change ?

It seems to me that he needs to show some overwhelming gratitude and recognize what a great country he lives in to have given him these opportunities.

If we're in need of such fundamental changes why do we have the biggest illegal immigration problem on earth?
